A Child is Born (1965) by Swedish photographer and scientist Lennart Nilsson, is said to the best-selling illustrated book ever published. He is noted for his extreme macro photography and photographs of human embryos and other medical subjects once thought to be "unphotographable". He is considered to be among Sweden’s first modern photojournalists.
